Hi. My name is Antonietta and I have a confession to make straight up – I am not American nor do I live in the US. I am an Australian frustrated and envious at an opportunity I have seen so many of you passing up on a daily basis – Grant Kits. I worked for years in Government here is Sydney and understand grants programs. Why are so many of you passing up the opportunity to access government funding? And I know you are passing it as as I am currently working in pay per click (PPC) marketing and have been marketing a variety of grants kits for a while now. I have repeatedly seen the pattern of folks clicking on the ads but not going through to the next step, what in PPC is known as tyre kickers. I have been SOOOOOO frustrated – not for me (I have other campaigns) but for YOU. I don’t understand how you can pass up such a fantastic opportunity – especially one where everybody wins. Yes everybody: you – the grant recipient, the federal government (remember these are economic stimulus grants), the community that benefits from the outcomes of the grant, the PPC marketer who posted the ad and perhaps the broader world economy – depending on the nature of the grant project. Literally everyone wins, so why not take up the opportunity?

And why did I take the time to develop this article? Actually this is the second article I have written on grants because I really do think they are a fantastic opportunity. Anyway I have taken the time to write this because I can only imagine that you folks are not signing on because you have not thought the opportunity through enough. So I have decided to help you think it through a bit more – you see I already work for myself at home on my terms and know how good it is. So I asked myself what could be the reasons a person would not at least free trial one of these grants package offers? And I came up with the following questions/objections:

1.Is it bonafide/real? – These companies have been seen all over the US media. If it was not bonafide the Obama administration would have closed it down faster than you can say grant application. After all why would they want their credibility linked to a scam operation? They’ve got enough problems. Same goes for major news networks, they have their credibility on the line too – it is not in their interests to promote products they have not properly researched. Do you think The Wall Street Journal will risk getting it wrong? Especially when stations like NBC announced “US Department of Housing and Urban Development officials announced Friday how they will divide $4 billion in community block grants across the country.”

I agree – all the marketing hype most companies have posted into their sites makes you immediately wary – but after we dug around a bit we were satisfied the offers are bonafide. I just reckon these companies are working with advertising companies that are so used to ‘selling‘ they have forgotten to let a good product speak for itself. I decided to advertise it because I was genuinely  excited for you all when I saw the offer then I became totally bewildered by the lack of response to my ads – hence the article to wake you all up a bit. And no I am in NO WAY connected to these companies except as a PPC marketer – which is arms length.  I just think it looks great.

2. It is free information & why should you pay for what is freely available? Firstly, you get more than what you would find working alone searching the net. They collected all the relevant information into one site – you can trawl through literally 1,000′s of grant options rather than crawling through thousands of web sites and maybe finding what you are looking for.  Further – you can also search a data base of grant options rather than trawling web sites – so you can see and access grant options you may never have even considered. This could open up a whole set of new doors for you.

Secondly, I reckon it will save you money. If we all agree that time is money then your time is money too right?  And these companies have done the hard work for you thus saving  you a heap of time and money. Finally because your success further guarantees these companies success – after all who wants bad publicity? They often provide grants support services in one form or another – and there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Finally up to date information means you can apply for multiple grants over time. How good is that?

3. Free trial? I am billed automatically – It depends on the company for example Grants for Citizens gives you a three day trial which I guess is really just a chance to look at the kit. If you do not like the kit you just pay $1.97 and keep the bonuses. If you do like the kit then $39.95 a month is charged to your credit card – which they say is a $20.00 discount from the regular $59.95 membership fee – why do they do that?  You always have the option to can cancel your membership at any time by calling the help line  24/7.  With Government Money Secrets you pay $2.29 S&H for a 7 day trial which after that you will be charged $39.95 membership and they also offer a FREE fourteen-day and twenty one-day special bonuses.

4.The companies make a profit off of the kit/package – And? If you accept point two then you recognize the companies have done the intelligence work for you saving you time and frustration. So why shouldn’t they make a profit? Making a profit is the basis of any modern society. If these companies provide you with a good service then why shouldn’t they make a profit? You want to make a profit don’t you?

5. Why should we pay a monthly fee? Well because this information changes regularly.  Before working in PPC I did work in government and I know programs change; often times we could not keep up with the changes from within government… Anyway these companies make sure that you receive up to date information. They are grants specialists which means you get current information. I agree a monthly fee seems onerous but you do want current info right? I was discussing this with a couple of friends and we decided that what we would do would be to share the cost of the monthly fee and then go for it. Each of us apply for a number of grants – this kind of kit could easily get you set up. And with capacity to apply for things as diverse as money for: adoption, childcare; teenagers to start a business; utility bills; medical school; to work on your invention; Free auto repair; fix up your home; monthly for rent; for investors to build houses and apartments; paid tutoring for children; to make an independent film; money towards your children’s health care.

So, why should you sign up for a free trial?

  • It’s minimal risk for maximum outcome – and when you consider sharing the monthly fee with a friend/family then it’s even less risk
  • It’s easy and is made incredibly accessible to/for you – so it’s something you can do even if you are working.
  • You could use the kit to become a local grant writer and start a home business
  • You could access money to set you on a path you had never though possible
  • At end of the day you can simply cancel the membership during the free trial period and it will only cost you shipping and handling

I guess it goes without saying there are some scammers out there, so watch out for companies that guarantee you grant money if you sign with them – you have to apply. There is no such things as a Federal Grants Administration and never pay a company for a grant processing fee – grants cost nothing to file. And why pay a company to send in a grant application that you can do yourself?

So there you have it – all the reasons why I would be accessing a grant kit if I could and a few things to be wary of. Don’t ask me why, I prefer Grants for Citizens over Government Money Secrets – even though we advertise both and Government Money Secrets pays (us) more than Grants for Citizens. That said, we wouldn’t advertise either one if we weren’t convinced they can/will deliver what they say they will. Now I have one more confession to make before signing off – and you already know it – I have not tried the grants kits. I say this because unlike those who use disclaimers we have a proclaimer i.e stating that we have tried and can absolutely endorse the product – so I am being categorical – we have not, because we can not, try the product. Believe me if we could have we would have.
