ac_shocking_120x90 Consistent with our aim of being transparent we are writing this entry about Arbitrage Conspiracy (AC). We were just wondering where they are – so we figure you must be too. Here is an AC member update. Apart from requests by AC for marketing assist- in the form of incentives – we had not heard from them in months. We stopped all of our Arbitrage Conspiracy PPC campaigns months ago after they promised to publish Arbitrage Conspiracy 2 in September 09. We received an email 14th September informing us that despite the wait…”now I [Aymen] want to let you know … It’s SOOOOOOO Close to Being Ready!”

Well, it’s Feb 2010 and we have had heaps of marketing requests but NO clear or definitive advice on when round 2 is coming online…

In fairness Arbitrage Conspiracy team held three webinars in Novermber, two in December and one in February 2010. Each time they have promised an imminent launch….and we are still waiting. We figure the FTC and Google changes combined caught them off guard. OK – but why not say so? Why not say something???? Just keep customers in the loop – that’s good marketing right? From our POV the whole feeling of the AC changed after ‘Big Jason’ (BG) came on board. It feels like BJ came in and out went the ‘community feel‘ of Arbitrage Conspiracy… for us.  Remember perception is everything. It was as though AC went from a couple of enthusiastic guys with great ideas and experience to a brand/product with a marketing arm and Aymen became removed. Perhaps that was inevitable. The disappointing thing was that although Aymen and Emmanuel were teaching marketing they were also advocating changing the world via one marketer at a time‘ not BJ’s marketing strategies…very disappointing :-(   So bottom line from our POV? We were feeling sorry for the folks who bought into round 2 and still waiting for updated content. True – round one content is available to those folks and they bought AC round 2… Then we got an email inviting us to a webinar on February 4th.

Aymen aploogised for his absence and explained he was derailed in the process of trying to become a manager. So we were right – as they evolved from being a great product to being a brand they got lost. Then the Google/FTC changes hit and it must have been crazy, Aymen did not say that – that is our assumption.

Naive or not we still consider AC a good system. Our thoughts for new customers are become really familiar with the content from round one so you can do a thorough comparison and be satisfied that you bought an updated program. Do not be afraid to exercise your right for a refund – after all refunds are available on the new material… right?

Good luck to everyone in 2010 and Happy New Year of the Tiger!
